United Legwear & Apparel Co. takes corporate social responsibility very seriously and strives to make a positive impact at our various workplaces, in our communities and on a global level. We are committed to best practices and always seek to improve the ways we interact with:

  • Our Employees

  • Suppliers, Retail Partners, Customers

  • The Environment

Our Employees

We recognize that our employees are our most valuable asset, and have created an environment where all are treated with respect and fairness; an ethical code of conduct is adhered to at all times. ULAC employees are offered extensive benefits such as premium healthcare coverage, health and wellness resources, retirement and college savings plans, tuition reimbursement, generous leave benefits, professional training and development programs, and equal opportunity to contribute and succeed professionally and advance their careers.

Suppliers, Retail Partners, Customers

Each of these stakeholders are intrinsically connected to ULAC: we rely on our suppliers to manufacture the high-quality consumer goods sold by our retail partners. It’s essential that everyone is treated equally with integrity, trust, and care. Fair labor practices, social compliance regulations, rigorous factory inspections and verified audits ensure ethical treatment of the people we rely on to make consumer goods; all stakeholders must enjoy the same human rights.

The Environment

We are committed to greater environmental responsibility, reducing our carbon footprint, and protecting the planet. ULAC’s sustainability initiatives for the next decade and beyond are very ambitious and include: widespread use of recycled materials in our products and packaging; more efficient waste and water management; improved energy conservation; the reduction of chemical discharge and dangerous emissions in both the manufacture and transport of goods, and investment in new technologies that will reduce our reliance on non-renewable energy sources and raw materials.

Human Rights

ULAC’s commitment to uphold human rights and condemn violations of freedom and dignity is articulated in our Code of Conduct, Compliance-QA Manual, and Standard Operating Procedures and Policies. To read our 2023 Report on Modern Slavery, click the button below.
